Welcome to the new digital home of the Brookfield Substance Abuse Coalition (BSAC). We are a volunteer organization deeply concerned about the impact of substance abuse on our community. We bring together a diverse group of individuals that share a common desire to address the problems of drugs, alcohol, and substance abuse on all levels. We focus our efforts on education, prevention, and providing information to the public. Your participation and involvement are welcomed, and necessary for change.

• In cooperation with the school community, work together to educate all school age children about the problems of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.
• Teach parents to talk to their children about substance abuse through community education programs.
• Increase the community’s awareness and knowledge through various media.
• Work together with community leaders to provide awareness programs for both school and community.
• Encourage parents to be involved in a parent school partnership to ensure a safe community.

• Become a Safe Homes Family.
• Attend all programs sponsored by the BSAC to learn about substance abuse prevention and other adolescent issues.
• Utilize school and community resources if you are concerned about teens in our community.
• Contact the BSAC with any concerns or suggestions.
• Consider making a donation to the BSAC to support our efforts.
• Take time to talk to your children about the dangers of alcohol and other drugs.
